MPV Contract Management Training Program
MPV supports our valued clients with a comprehensive training program designed to provide users with resources to maximize the benefits of MPV Contract Management in your practice. MPV coordinates all training events with your MPV project manager. Your training plan may include a combination of the offerings outlined below.
MPV Contract Management Orientation
This session is designed to provide you with a basic understanding of MPV Contract Management and the daily workflow processes that impact the data available in the system. This session assists you in determining which roles to assign to specific staff members and helps you identify any daily business processes that may need modification in preparation for MPV Contract Management implementation. Your implementation consultant will determine the timing and delivery method for this session.
Contract Identification Training
The purpose of this session is to communicate the importance of patient registration and EOB posting processes and their impact on claims valuation. Client-specific practice exercises are a key feature of this training. MPV will provide a preliminary Contract Code List during this session.
MPV Contract Management Web-Based Training – Navigation and Overview (Phase 1)
Two weeks prior to the MPV Contract Management Live date, your client management team will complete the MPV Contract Management Navigations and Overview online training courses in preparation for the MPV Contract Management Live Management Workshop. The suite of online courses is self-paced. These courses provide information about using the system and allow users to practice using actual screens.
MPV Contract Management Live Management Workshop
MPV provides a multi-tiered workshop for the client management team. Workshop topics include: basic navigation, basic filters overview and review of contract and claim data available in MPV Contract Management, initial appeal opportunities and workflow process action planning.
MPV Contract Management Web-Based Training – Navigation and Overview (Phase 2)
Two weeks prior to the MPV Contract Management Basic User Training, MPV users are required to complete the MPV Contract Management Navigations and Overview online training courses. The suite of online courses is self-paced. These courses provide information about using the system and allow users to practice using MPV Contract Management screens.
MPV Contract Management User Training
Approximately three weeks after the MPV Contract Management Live date, MPV may conduct two days of hands-on, on-site MPV user training in a classroom setting. For MPV clients who have contracted for a full implementation, the two day training program includes a day-and-a-half of Basic User Training and a half day of Appeals Workshop. The training is structured for users who have completed the MPV Contract Management Navigation and Overview – Web-Based Training program.
Training topics include: navigation, searches and filters, identifying and working with claims with variances and submitting appeals.
Appeal Workshops
The implementation and training plan may include two workshop visits focused on maximizing the results of the appeal process. Your MPV implementation consultant will coordinate with you to plan these meetings at brief intervals following the MPV Contract Management Basic User Training. During these meetings MPV will review the challenges and successes you are facing with the appeal process. We will provide additional coaching regarding identifying, conducting and tracking appeals to help refine processes.
MPV Contract Analysis Training
If MPV Contract Analysis Training is included in your MPV Service Agreement, MPV will provide additional training for MPV Contract Analysis to your contract manager (and one additional key user upon request). Training is provided approximately four to six months after the MPV Contract Management Live date. This is a two day training session conducted at MPV's San Antonio office.
MPV Patient Portion Pricer Training
If MPV Patient Portion Pricer Training is included in your MPV Service Agreement, MPV will provide additional training for MPV Patient Portion Pricer using a video tutorial. For MPV Contract Management clients, training is provided approximately three to six months after the MPV Contract Management Live date.
Reference Materials
MPV offers a variety of reference materials to our clients. Reference materials include an online user's guide, reference documents and guides and a series of video tutorials.
MPV Contract Management Navigation and Overview – Web-Based Training
Our Web-based training program continues to be available to your organization as refresher training for your existing MPV Contract Management users or as a no-cost training option for new users who join your organization after your implementation process concludes.
