These days, physician groups are receiving more and more enrollment data from payors and employer groups—much of it arriving in proprietary and non-standardized formats. As a result, providers are experiencing increased bottlenecks in the area of data filing. MPV’s Eligibility Subsystem Interface (ESI), which can be managed in-house by the provider or outsourced to MPV, offers a convenient solution to the challenges associated with adapting data from different interfaces and payor/employer groups.

Designed to assist in the filing of eligibility information from various payors into GE Centricity^® Business, ESI allows GE users to easily verify capitation eligibility through roster reconciliation. During data processing, ESI converts enrollment data to a standard format and then performs patient and contract matching as well as identification of potential terminations or new plan enrollees. The result is cleaner demographic and enrollment database processing, elimination of missed claims and improved eligibility workflow.
