MPV Secures Three New Clients
SAN ANTONIO, Texas. - January 25, 2004 - Medical Present Value, Inc. (MPV), a leading provider of contract modeling services and claims auditing software to maximize reimbursement for medical groups, today announced new contracts with Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Group (UMDNJ), University Physician Associates at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and Vancouver Clinic. All three organizations will use MPV Phynance™ to help manage their payor contracts and identify payment variances.
MPV employs its highly trained contract analyst team and advanced technology to value and verify health care claims and payments according to the terms of the various payor contracts. The contract team also maintains a database of client-specific contract terms, fee schedules and payment policies and continually updates Medicare, state and other payment rules to ensure claim pricing is accurate.
"These new contracts continue to validate our approach to helping medical groups remain profitable in today's competitive healthcare marketplace," said Larry Gray, CEO of MPV. "With the complexity of payor contracts, it is often difficult for medical groups to get paid what they are owed. By using Phynance to help manage this process, these groups can identify, appeal and recover contractually underpaid claims, resulting in an increase in net collected revenue, reduced payment cycle times and streamlined administrative processes."
