Tom Stampiglia Named CEO of MPV
Industry veteran will help company meet growing demand for its contract management and reimbursement services

SAN ANTONIO, Texas. – September 1, 2005 – Medical Present Value, Inc. (MPV), a leading provider of financial tools and expert services to manage payor contracts and audit reimbursement, today announced the appointment of Tom Stampiglia as CEO. In this role, Stampiglia will be responsible for overseeing MPV’s growth and market positioning, including the development of strategic partnerships and alliances.

Stampiglia joins MPV with more than 25 years of industry experience in healthcare and technology. Most recently, Stampiglia served as President and COO of the Practice Services Division for WebMD Corporation, where he was responsible for the company’s physician practice management, electronic medical records and electronic claims solutions. He also served as President of the Software Division at CheckFree Corporation and held various management positions at Lanier Worldwide, Inc. including General Manager of Lanier Healthcare.
