Training
 

MPV supports our valued clients with a comprehensive training program designed to provide users with resources to maximize the benefits of MPV Phynance. Each client's implementation and training plan may include the following sessions:

Phynance Orientation
This session is designed to provide new clients with a basic understanding of Phynance operations and the daily workflow processes that impact the data available in Phynance. By participating, users will be able to determine which roles to assign to specific staff members and identify any daily business processes that may need to be enhanced in preparation for the Phynance implementation.

Contract Identification Training
The purpose of this session is to communicate the importance of patient registration and EOB posting processes and their impact on claims valuation. Client-specific practice exercises are a key feature of this training. MPV will provide a preliminary Contract Code List during this session.

Phynance Web-Based Training
Two weeks prior to going live, all Phynance users will complete the MPV suite of online Phynance training courses. These online courses are self-paced, provide information about using Phynance and allow users to practice using different Phynance screens.

Phynance Live Training
During Phynance live week, MPV conducts two days of onsite Phynance user training. The training is structured for users who have completed the Web-based training program. Training topics include navigation, searches, filters, introduction to contracts, claims with variances and reports. The Phynance Live onsite training is limited to a total of six attendees. MPV coordinates the training schedule with the client-assigned project manager.

Follow-Up Visits
The implementation and training plan may include two follow-up visits focused on maximizing the results of the appeals process. These visits include a review of recent challenges and successes and provide additional coaching regarding identifying, conducting and tracking appeals.
